This is a series of short video clips recorded at various times on the webcams and on a digital camera.

The software used for the video player is Coffeecup Web Video Player from Coffeecup Software. The individual clips are created using Windows Movie Maker software.

Descriptions of Video Clips

The Coast Guard clip shows one of the smaller boats from the U.S. Coast Guard Tawas Station leaving the East Tawas State Dock Harbor. The people on the dock are fishing for Whitefish.

The Veterans Flag clip shows the 30' by 60' American Flag on a 141' flagpole located in Brugger's Plaza in Tawas City, Michigan. The flag is dedicated to veterans of the U.S. armed forces. Background music courtesy of Lee Greenwood and Universal Music Publishing Group.

The Trumpeter Swans clip shows a group of Trumpeter Swans in the harbor just as the ice is breaking up in the Spring.

The Feeding Swan clip is a Trumpeter Swan feeding in Tawas Bay in the morning.

The Boat Leaving Harbor clip shows a large boat leaving the East Tawas Harbor.

The Freighter Buffalo clip shows the American Steamship Company 634' freighter Buffalo backing in at National Gypsum's Port Gypsum in Alabaster Township.

The Polar Bear Swim clip at Perchville 2007 shows 5 swimmers- temperature was 10° and the wind chill was -5°.

The Shelf Cloud clip shows a late spring  thunderstorm shelf cloud moving across Tawas Bay, preceding the storm.

The Shelf Cloud 1 Clip shows a continuation of the development of the shelf cloud shown in the previous clip.
