MiscellaneousThe water temperature is measured approximately 15-20 feet from shore in approximately 15-24 inches of water using a separate Davis wireless temperature station. The temperature probe is placed in the water usually in late March or early April after the ice moves out and removed in December when shore ice begins to form.
