The NWS online weather data for East Tawas (and other locations) shown below is provided by the Gaylord, Michigan National Weather Service office for North Central Lower Michigan. Data for East Tawas is collected at the Sewer Treatment Plant located approximately ½ mile from Tawas Bay. Weather readings are taken each morning  between 8:00 am and 8:30 am.
